That's the only logical explanation because the other Jedi who were attacked by the Clones also couldn't sense it. But Koon dying on an aircrash, seems wise enough for me. Although he might have lived, but aswell so might have Agen and Saesee and Kit and Ki-Adi (I am a fan of Ki-Adi and Kit.. extreme Jedi are they). But if Mace had an ability called Force Fly he could have lived through that fall. What's next? Kit Fisto survived, Saesee Tiin survived or even the whole Jedi Temple survived!!!!...it's just ridiculous, they died for god sake.
