No, I think his mind was clouded by the Dark Side and he couldn't sense the danger. That's the only logical explanation because the other Jedi who were attacked by the Clones also couldn't sense it.

Yes, but I mean't if he was supposedly the best Jedi pilot, then why did he allow himself to be shot down by one ARC-170? I mean does evasive manuvers come to anyone's mind while they are being shot at?

I guess it just shows how shallow ROTS really was.

Well, possibly he didn't know about the ARC's killing him before it was too late...

But Koon dying on an aircrash, seems wise enough for me. Although he might have lived, but aswell so might have Agen and Saesee and Kit and Ki-Adi (I am a fan of Ki-Adi and Kit.. extreme Jedi are they). But if Mace had an ability called Force Fly he could have lived through that fall.

The dude with the mask in the fighter during episode 3.

Come on, I'm rusty too, but it's THE PLO KOON for crying out loud, how can you not remember him?

Definitely a cool dude.

Drugs have the unique and beneficent properties of:

* Making a person feel happy
* Making him simultaneously cool
* Making everyone else uncool until they start using drugs too.

Like bigevil said, I think this is just a hoax of "is he dead or did he escape" like the whole Kit Fisto escape thing. Watch this YouTube video to see what I mean. It's stupid, right?

Yeah Plo Koon's expired, i'm getting pretty sick and tired of "he's not dead" when it comes to Star Wars characters..you see them die on screen, that's it...DEAD. What's next? Kit Fisto survived, Saesee Tiin survived or even the whole Jedi Temple survived!!!!...it's just ridiculous, they died for god sake.

I really hated when Plo Koon died. They could of made him still be alive, and how he helped the Rebel Alliance.
